DP is a steel trading company founded in 2009 by a group of entrepreneurs and experienced executives from the steel trading sector. And now based in Lugano (Switzerland), with branch offices and agents throughout Europe, North Africa, Middle East, CIS, Turkey, and the Far East.
DP trades steel worldwide and provides structured financial services to its customers in various countries. DP is an innovative yet traditional company with a reputation of a market leader with great global industry insights.

GOALS

The main goals for a new site were:

advantages for cooperating with DP;

Inform the visitor about the company, products, scale, and global activities;

Build a fast, intuitive, professional and mobile responsive website that in the future
could rank well on Search Engines, therefore, SEO component was added;

Implement analytics to be able to receive the data and calculate the ROI on web design
and development project.

RESULTS

Having conducted a 4-hour long discovery session with the business owners the website objectives were defined, the core company values were agreed upon, key visitor groups were defined and mapped out against the marketing funnel.
On a later stage, an in-depth analysis of the potential website visitors was made, the visitor types were clustered and each group’s customer journey was mapped out and designed by our UX designer. The Keywords research was conducted and the right silo structure was implemented.

The website traffic has doubled in the first 2 months from a new website launch without an active SEO campaign, just due to content, link structure, usability, website speed, mobile responsiveness, crawlability, lower bounce rate, higher CTR.

The website visitor gets the key message “a company is a TRUSTED partner for steel trade and services”. The objective was to come up with a short pitch line that within seconds lets the visitor know what the company does and sets the rightfully deserved TRUST element into the comprehension.

The fold pages were designed in such a way that they take the visitor gradually received the required information.

The target audience was thoroughly researched in order to create a positive user experience, build a trust-based narrative and answer the potential questions the new visitor might have.

Testimonials were added to address the question “Can I trust DP?” any new visitor might have.

Locations with contact details were added to allow the overseas business partners and potential clients to find the local representatives.
And contact form was added to shorten the distance from the desired action – get in touch.

Every page is dedicated to a different website visitor group to satisfy the intent of a visitor and provide all the relevant public data. Each page leads to a next stage across the customer journey.
Each page is built mobile responsive and can be seen on any device (mobile, tablet, desktop, laptop) and any browser.
